Buffalo Beds 1 | Tallgrass Prarie National Preserve, Flint Hills, Kansas | Limited edition of 250 | Released August, 2011 | During the day, a small herd of buffalo (yes, technically they're Bison) roams this prairie. But part of the day and most of the night they lay down to rest. Here, the tallgrass leaves distinctive marks where they've made themselves a home on the range. The number in the title refers to the number of 'beds' in the shot, rather than a series. There are three in the series: one, two, and four, each looking back at the approaching storm.
