Lightning: Probably against better judgment, I tend to grab my camera and head outside when the tornado sirens sound. One July night there were major storms just north of my house in western Missouri, and I set up my tripod and cable release in the field behind my house as the storms rolled overhead. I took several hundred time exposures over the course of a couple hours, waiting for the fingers of lightning to appear while the shutter was open. Exposures ranged from 30 to 60 seconds. Edition of 200. Released September 2008.
