Many Parks Sunset, Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado. Parks, in this instance, refers to the U shaped valleys left by glacial movement, rather than beautiful places within the National Parks Service. Many Parks Curve is on the Estes Park side of the highest elevation paved through highway in the U.S., and a great place to pull off and gaze at a beautiful sunrise or sunset. I've hiked hundreds, although it feels like thousands, of miles in rugged country, and in a way it feels like cheating on this shot: I took this panoramic from the boardwalk viewing platform, having walked no more than a couple hundred feet from the parking lot. Edition of 42.
